POLZEATH GALLERY
Polzeath is a well known surfing resort and in the summer months is a very busy place. Popular with both young and old due to its sunny aspect, Polzeath offers fabulous walks, golden sandy beaches and secluded coves. Being located at the mouth of the camel estuary gives the beach a unique aspect affording views of the headland.
Polzeath has a fine expanse of sand with rocks and is sheltered by the nearby Pentire Point. About a mile to the south is the ancient Church of St. Enodoc which at one time was almost entirely engulfed by sand but later reclaimed and restored.
The coastal path passes through Polzeath on its way in one direction to Daymer Bay and on to Rock. In the other direction it will take you through New Polzeath, to Pentire Point and on round the coast towards the rumps providing several miles of stunning coastline.
