Ross is a regular contributor to a number of photography magazines, including ‘Digital SLR Photography’ and ‘Outdoor Photography’.
Ross Hoddinott is the author of six books on photography technique – including the highly successful ‘Digital Exposure Handbook’ – and his images are published in a wide range of publications throughout the World.
In 2009 Ross Hoddinott was named ‘British Wildlife Photographer of the Year’ and is a multiple award winner in the ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year’ competition.
His work has also been recognised in the prestigious ‘Landscape Photographer of the Year’ competition.
Ross has lived in North Cornwall for the majority of his life – quite simply, this is his home. Over the years, he’s developed an intimate knowledge of the area, which allows him to capture the region’s beauty and moods throughout the seasons. Ross Hoddinott is inspired by the beauty of nature and the wild, rugged South West landscape is his favourite subject. Whilst it might sound clichéd, Ross hopes that through his work he can help highlight the beauty and importance of our natural history and environment…
